We are using agilent infinity 1260 LCMS with peak scientific nitrogen generator. Nitrogen generator is 24 hour working. For each year we have to do part replacement as the service button blink. But one person said for their instrument 2 and 1/2 year no maintenance is required. Do anyone have same experience like us ?
We had the Parker nitrogen generator for our LCMS and the service timer was set to hours of operation equal to one year. If the other lab turns off the pumps when not using the LCMS then they may have a longer time before the light says to do maintenance. If you can pull the standby gas from another source such as compressed air then you can extend the life of the nitrogen generator.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
Thank you very much. I will be grateful if you can tell me which brand is good for new LCMSMS. We are going to buy new LCMSMS instrument for pesticide residues analysis. Agilent, waters or thermo scientific?
