We are using agilent infinity 1260 LCMS with peak scientific nitrogen generator. Nitrogen generator is 24 hour working. For each year we have to do part replacement as the service button blink. But one person said for their instrument 2 and 1/2 year no maintenance is required. Do anyone have same experience like us ?
Hi
It's a nice equipment and pretty much does "donkey's job" :P . If it's bought around 2014 it may have some faulty parts and this problem goes away with replacement. Otherwise personal experience is really good with Peak generator. Service light should not come before at least 3600hrs of continuous working.
How frequently it needs service depends on the quality of the supply air and how much use it gets.
Oh, and little blinking lights that may be time based rather than performance based.
