I would like to compare ammonium bicarbonaat buffer vs 4-Methylmorpholine for buffering at ph 8. Can i lower the ph of 100 mM ammonium bicarbonaat with formic acid? What acid/base do you use to adjust ph?

The pH stability of ammonium bicarbonate buffer is not good (water must be degassed before buffer preparation). The good practise is preparation of fresh AB buffer before application.

Yes
by he way, what acid/base do i use o adjust pH of 4-methylmorpholine?
