Hi,
I am monitoring three ions which elute at different time points, an internal standard and two ions of interest. In Chemstation, I setup a method which starts monitoring ion 1 from time 0, from time 4 it monitors ion 2, from time 8 it monitors ion 3.
The method works, however, compared to a method that only monitors one of the ions of interest the sensitivity is significantly reduced.

Is there a reason for this behavior?

Thanks,
M
No, it should have the same sensitivity.

If you want us to find the problem, i think the easiest way would be to post screenshots of the MS settings in both methods.
