I have observed the following when I was trying to acheive fragmentaion by LC/MS Ion Trap.
The compound I was trying to analyse gave M+H, M+NA and M+H+ACN. However, I found that l can only achieved the fragmentaion of M+H.
Please advice on whether is it possible to obtain fragmentation of M+Na and M+H+ACN by LC/MS ion trap.

Increase the diclustering potential or the collision energy.

In our (ESP) experience, fragmentation of sodium adducts is most times impossible.
