I have a MSD 5973. I have no idea of how to read the autotune result. What information should I obtain from the result? What conclusions should I make by reading the result? Thanks thanks.

Personally, I'd recommend going through the computer-based tutorial, it explains this pretty well. But since you asked for help, here's what I'd recommend to eyeball, for standard or QuickTune, for 69, 219, and 502.
Peak width (Pw) should be between 0.5 and 0.6.
502 peak abundance should be maybe 2-5%, and 503 isotope abundance should be 9-12%.
EM volts should be less than 2200, as higher means higher background. Do the tutorial.

Which tune are you using? Here are some parameters for the Standard Spectra tune we use:

1. Low background: 3%
10. Isotope ratios: mass 70/69=0.5-1.6%, mass 220/219=3.2-6.4%, mass 503/502=7.9-12.3%

Hope this is helpful

Sorry, but this keeps deleting steps 2 thru 9, check the manual or call Agilent, they'll help.
