We are starting to run salts of lanthanides (think Neodymium nitrate - N3NdO9) and transition metals (think ferrocenium salts) by LC-MS (Agilent 1200 stack w/TCC & DAD, 6130C singlequad, Epic C18 MSO 2.3u 150A 5cm X 2.1mm column 8 minute gradient 5%-95%B, A=95:5 H2O:ACN w/1%FA, B=5:95 H2O:ACN w/1%FA ). We have significant LC-MS experience with (normal) small organic molecules, and are doing okay so far. Do folks who've done this type of work before have any tips they might share?

Thanks for your help.
