Varian 220-ms Ion Trap
Having the following problem. I acquire a DFTPP spectrum and load it in MS Data Review. I pick the apex peak and apply three-point average. The Mz 127 shows 127.0, 127.2, 127.2 for the three scan masses to average. The problem is, it is taking the two 127.2 masses and ignoring the 127.0 mass in the three mass averaging. This make 127 look low in the DFTPP 8270D Tune Report and thus fails tune. I tried running Auto tune and FC43 mass adjust but the problem keeps coming back. Whenever the same mass of three peaks differ by 0.2 amu the software see this as not the same mass and fails to average them as such. Any suggestion on how to fix this?
