Hello,

I have trouble to calibrate Quattro Micro MS (Waters). First, manually I can adjust all parameters within
reasonable range to get nice peaks of Heptacos (69, 131, 219, 502, 614). Then when I run Autotune, these
parameters are reset to completely wrong values, resulting in very distorted peaks. Well, Autotune often does not
work, so this is not a problem. However, when I attempt to calibrate the instrument, the calibration and
verification is reported as a success, but then message appears saying that "calculated RMS exceeded..."
I checked acquired spectra, and I see all peaks present, so I see nothing wrong.
I checked all other parameters (treshold, mass range, etc.. and everything seems to be OK. Any
suggestions? Also, do you know how is the fitting polynomial calculated? This polynomial is
in the *.cal file. If I knew this definition, I simply can acqure heptacos spectrum and
check it with the reference, then get fitting polynomial.

Best regards,
Jan
