I'm about to move into a newly designed and refurbished lab space to house our LCMS and GCMS instruments along with some 'standard' LC-PDA/ELSD/FLD and GC-FID instruments.
Can anyone suggest any special needs with respect to pre-cleaning such a space prior to moving equipment in, such as what chemicals should be avoided in terms of potential air contamination for mass specs?
What cleaning agents or detergents would be acceptable for such a space?
We do have a N2 generator that draws air form the lab itself, it is not fed by compressed air.
any advice would be much appreciated.
thanks
Greg
