Hi there,
I am working on my project using GCxGC TOFMS
the column set I am using is SLB-5MS/ SLB-50MS. I run the Alkane standard and see very broad peaks in the 2nd dimension, and the peaks are wrapping around.
Does anyone have any idea about what the problem could be?
Thank you!
Kind of this?

Wrapping is caused by wrong initial slicing time selection.

Big broad peak in second dimension is probably then baseline raise, maybe column conditioning required, or probe contamination with heavy compounds
