We use an Agilent LC-QqQ, APCI negative mode to analyze some things that ionize as [M.]-. We get very inconsistent response from these ions, especially after tuning, but even after cleaning the source, housing, tubing, etc with acetonitrile. Any recommendations to improve consistency, or any idea why we're getting inconsistent responses?
