Hi, I recently started at a company that had a Micromass MALDI MX in storage and i am trying to resurrect it. I'm told it was working (up until a year or two ago). I have connected all the relevant cables (following the manual). the PC turns on but won't pass the boot stage.

VXLD 1.2 (am I missing a boot disk?)
the usb keyboard wouldn't allow access to the bios but I got an old style keyboard that connects. I can't get passed this step. Am I missing something
Help would be greatly appreciated !
That seems to be the instrument control PC. It is not supposed to be controlled by a human. It will connect to the instrument with some specific cables. Then it connects to a MassLynx workstation via network cable. You need to have the correct version of the software installed on the ML workstation so that the instrument control PC downloads the VxWorks BIOS and completes boot
