Hi,

I hae just recently removed the back detector of my very old Agilent 6890. I removed the complete FID inkluding the Card on the main board. Now, I constantly get the error message "B det mismatch".

Any idea what to do?

Thanks

Stefan
Did you use the Config button on the GC and set the Det B to no detector?

Also in Chemstation you have to remove the detector there from all the methods as well.

If the instrument is not reconfigured, it will always look for the missing detector and if it does not find it, will report a error as if the detector board has gone bad.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
