While trying to set up a separate instrument, I accidentally enabled DHCP on my network settings and now the computer is not able to connect with the Agilent 7890B. I tried going to the network settings and changing the IP address back to what it was, but this hasn't helped. I have windows 10 and OpenLAB CDS. Any guidance would be incredibly appreciated!
What is the IP address of the GC? First you have to know if there is connection between PC and GC, so you can try to make ping
Hi, we expect the PC to have 2 independent network cards, 1 for the company network and 1 dedicated for the instrument (cross cable). I suggest to give the dedicated network card an IP 192.168.254.100/255.255.255.0 and give the GC e.g. 192.168.254.11/255.255.255.0 and try to ping it.
