I am going to analyze dibromochloropropane (DBCP) in a solid matrix. Which method you recommend? GC-FID, GC-MS or GC-ECD?

If you can state more about the matrix, and especially state whether you're looking for 5% 0.1%, or 5 ppm, that "might" help.
From the information given:
GC/ECD sensitive but non-specific, should be good down to ppb range, maybe
GC/MS not as sensitive, unless using SIM, but with spectral confirmation
GC/FID neither sensitive nor specific. Brominated compounds don't burn well
Thank you. I need to analyze DBCP in a solid. Can I use HS ECD? Which solvent do you recommend?
5 ppm in a solid
