Hello, everyone
I am Phuong. Now, I would like to measure ethylene gas by gas chromatography. First, I need to create a standards curve. The concentration of ethylene standard is 1000 ppm. Can you tell me how to prepare the standards curve?
It is difficult to make these sorts of dilutions. You need very accurate methods for making pressure measurements.

What concentrations ethylene do you expect from your samples? I would take the simple route and get an ethylene standard that is similar to what's in my samples and assume linearity of the detector. If you're using a flame, it is a pretty good assumption.
