Hello everyone, I'm developping methods for determination of VOCs in urine using headspace injection for GC/MS. Considering that I'm injecting 1mL of sample gas, which liner I should use (dimension, split/splitless, etc..) in order to get the highest sesitivity and a good reproducibility?
Thanks in advance
Generally I find the Quartz 2mm ID liners with no packing material to be the best for headspace. You are more likely to have reproducibility issues from vial crimping than any liner-related issues.
Thanks. What I observed is a decreasing of the reproducibilty in last one month and now is going worst. I have just changed the 2.5 mL syringe and I'm curious to see if I solved my problem. Other Ideas?
