Hai
I am trying to calibrate the GC with pure hydrogen. I am getting a sharp and tall peak for h2 within 1 minute of injection in TCD mode.Oven temp 80deg,injection port temp 60deg, column is mol sieve 5A,carrier gas nitrogen 30ml/min.All these parameters are ok or not. What should be the temparature of the detector. Please suggest me any good parameters.
Thanking you,
gss reddy

Hai
I want to calibrate the gc for hydrogen detection. Any simple laboratory procedure to do this. How accurately i should take the gas in ml.
for eg if i take 2ml of gas with hamilton syrrenge it wont be 2ml in the syrrenge because volume depends on the partial pressure of the vessel from which i have been taking the gas. What about the commercially available calibration gases. Please suggest some suppliers
thanking you

I guess that's the same undergraduate student, who has asked a few days ago.

www.kin-tek.com

or buy a book and a gas tight syringe.
