Can Anybody tell me how can we assay residual solvent in vegetable oils? Is head space analysis on GC reliable? Please help. Thanks.

Static headspace will be very accurate and reproducible. Add a portion of the oil to Dimethylacetamide (10無 to 50無.... keep the volume consistent) and use 80蚓 heating with stirring for 10min. Inject amount needed to give adequate peak size..... 100 to 500無 .
let me know what are the solvent you are looking for estimation?
