I have the USP method of TRAZODONE in which one of the impurity have been eluting at the RT of about 1.6 min.
Here the problem is the Blank peak also eluting at the same RT of the impurity.
Is there any technique to suppress the blank peak or separate the impurity with blank.

Are you doing LC or GC? (you are posting on GC thread) What type of column are you using (dimensions, brand) and what is your mobile phase. Do you have a structure of the impurity?
