Dear all,

I am using GC/Headsapce 6890/7694 from Agilent to analyze some esters and alcohols in beer. Some compounds are good, but some have very bad results compared to check sample, although the calibration curves of those compounds are very straght. Acetaldehyde are 40% lower than the check sample. Others are higher. The thing is the errors are quite stable : 40;42; 38% etc..

I really do not know what is the cause of that. Anyone have experience on this situation please help me .

Thank, thank you very much..

Hai

Your oven temp of the headspace or injection port is too hot.
