Hello,

We are using Agilent 7890B GC with two inlet channels (TCD and ECD). With the help of TCD channel, we want to separate hydrocarbons (methane(55-60%), ethylene(20-25%), ethylene oxide (0.5-3%)) and permanent gases (carbon dioxide(4-7%) and oxygen(6-9%)). We are only using Supelco 1006 PLOT capillary column in TCD channel but ethylene oxide peak is very weak whose concentration is changing between 0.5-3%. Ethylene oxide (EO) is the most important component for TCD channel operation we want to get as much as higher EO peak with respect to area and intensity. Of course other rest of hydrocarbons are also of interest. As well as EO, we want to see them in TCD. Have you got any experience with EO separation? Lastly, what would be your advice particularly on our aforementioned gas matrix? How do we separate the oxygen and other gases in one channel?
