Please tell me how to calculate or estimate hydrocarbon types in middle distillates by mass spectrometry following the ASTM D2425-04. I used GC-TOFMS.

You need to go to the ASTM web site and buy a copy of the method. Be aware that the method was developed using a single focusing magnetic sector mass spectrometer using a Faraday cup collector as the detector that was produced from 1953 to 1963, so results from a modern TOF instrument may differ.

I already got the ASTM D2425-04 but I do not understand how to do. Do you have an example how to interpret result from GC-TOFMS
Good afternoon, someone already solved this doubt?
