I'm retired now, and our 5890 units were hated by my last supervisor. But they worked great with the 7673 autosampler. Let's assume that the 9-pin remote cables are all in place, and that the Configuration Editor has been updated to accept the autosampler. Which control box are you using for the autosampler?

You can program in a post run, or the system will inject again once all the temperature parameters are reached and held.
Hi. Thank you for your response and your time.
So - the issue was the remote cable from GC was not connected to the controller. Now everything is working.
We now need to work on the method for short-chain fatty acids. We configured the GC with the following parameters:
Oven: 125C - 20 minutes
Inlet: 175 C
Detector: 180 C
Flow A/Nitrogen - 40mL/min
Flow B/Helium - 6

However, I am unfamiliar with calibration pecks, which exact calibration settings we need to follow.

What chain lengths? What matrix? What levels?
