How to prepare n-alkane standards for HS-SPME?

HI guys,
I am using HS-SPME for my project and I would like to run n-alkane standards and grob mix in every batch. Does anyone know how I should prepare the n-alkane standras/grob mix standards for HS-SPME? which solvent should I use and what concentration should it be?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Your solvent needs to closely match the matrix of your samples. Anything else changes the partition coefficients & skews the results.

I've found this is a real pain for hydrocarbons in water, the best I can manage is making a concentrate of all the hydrocarbons in the correct ratios then quantitatively transfer a very small portion (~1 µl) of this concentrate to a huge (2l) volumetric & adding water...

Fortunately my samples can contain methanol/ethanol & MTBE so I can add some of these to the hydrocarbon mix while keeping the matrix close to normal.
