Hi!
I am new to this forum and I apologize for my english, because it is regular.
I am using a Varian CP 3800 chromatograph (No autosampler, coupled to a mass spectrometer Saturn 2000, 30m x 0.25mm x 0.25um capillary column bdex; He carrier) and have the problem that the pressure does not stabilize. Pressure rises and falls but does not stabilize.
I do not know what to do. Could you please help me or indicate to me some solution.
Thanks
hi, please provide some info..like injection mode (split, splitless) parameter as total flow reading, etc
These will be useful for troubleshooting.
Meanwhile, check column installation, check septum purge flow (regulated by manual valve on front of instrument) and if you are in split mode, check flow on split tube on left side of instrument.
Try also epc calibration in setup menu.
Good luck
