Analysis of carboxylic acids - HP-FFAP

Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

Hello everyone!

In our lab, we use a GC Agilent 7890A equiped with a HP-FFAP (part number 19091F-433) capillary column, that we would like to use to determine the purity of carboxylic acids (from C:2 to C:14).

Could someone provides me with a methodology for the analysis of these acids in the HP-FFAP (sample preparation, GC and run parameters, integration parameters like height, slope and area rejection...)?

Thanks you in advance!
Hello, well I'm looking into doing the same thing. Did you ever found an answer ?

Hello!

I found this Agilent Application Note that gave me some good results.
