I'm performing SPE on two different cartridges, "BondElut mega BE-C18" and "Supelclean ENVI-18".

Are these two types of catridges able to tolerate high pH aqueous solutions (11-14)?

I'm basically trying to perform an on-column derivatization. The original procedure performed in glassware has to be done in basic conditions. The idea is to first let the cartridge imbibe the sample solution, then a base, and then load the derivatizing reagent.
Both of those are silica-based. In the absence of other information from the manufacturer, I would guess that the upper pH limit would be somewhere around 8.
