Does anyone know how long would you have to wait for a mixture to become homogeneous. I would be making mixture of 305 ml, about 100ppm of a hydrocarbon and 20 psi of Helium.

How long would you have to wait for the mixture to become homogeneous?

normally I waited 15 minutes, is that to short or 5 min would do it?

tmalew2,

What are you doing to mix it?

Best regards.

nothing is done to mix it, we wait with time for the mixture to become homogeneous. How much time should you give to for a 0.305 liter vessel. The mixture contains few hydrocarbons in ppm levels and 20 psi of helium.
