Hey Folks

OK.....stupid question alert.

I am currently trying to compare the pH of 0.2% Acetic Acid vs 0.2% Formic Acid. It is such a basic thing, but I haven't done this in a long while.

Can anyone recommend a website that will do this calculation. I looked at a few, and there are several that do buffer calculations, but I could not find one to do this, i.e. a simple acid pH calculation.

Thanks in Advance!
Hello,

You'll need to convert the units in molarity, and use the pH formula for a weak acid.

You can put that formula in an Excel sheet, or use an online calculator. This one seems to work.
