Hi everyone,

We have an existing Perkin Elmer 200 series HPLC system (binary pump, UV/vis detector) that runs happily with Chromeleon.

We recently tried to set up another system that has the Perkin Elmer 200 Series UV/Vis Detector and a Perkin Elmer 200 Series Quaternary Pump. The UV detector can be controlled through Chromeleon no problem. However, the pump will be happy for about 1 - 2 min (can change flow rate, solvent composition etc with Chromeleon) but then I get the following errors:

1) The communication FIFO "Audit7_LC200 Pimp" of the DDk driver "LC200 Pump" is corrupted.
2) The communication FIFO "Reply7_LC200 Pimp" of the DDk driver "LC200 Pump" is corrupted.
3) Driver LC200 Pump (PELC200Pump.dll) has terminated. This is a fatal error, you need to restart the instrument Controller to recover.

Any ideas?
Hi,
- Do you use any anti-virus software or window firewall "on" ?
- The software full compatibility with window system or not ?

Hi,

I doubt this is it, as other modules are running perfectly fine on the same computer. If I connect another Perkin Elmer 200 series pump we have, we get no error messages with it.
Dear: scochrane .

we have the same instrument . also we have binary pump it is working normally . i want ask you some information a bout the DAD detector . can we contact with us by emails ?

thank you so much
