Hello,

For a project, i need to develop an LCMS method for thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP).

In our routine food analyses, we hydrolyze this compound to seperate and detect thiamine on a conventional C18 column. This is not an option in this project.

I'm looking for tips on the selection of an appropriate column type for TPP. I want to avoid adding (ion-pair) reagents to increase retention on a normal RPLC column because it has to be MS-friendly. I'm thinking in the direction of either a cyano type phase (RPLC) or HILIC. Anyone has experience with TPP, or can recommend a (U)HPLC column? I've searched for app notes / literature but I have difficulties finding a solution.
Please email me and I will provide you with LC/MS compatible method for your compound.

My opinions might be bias, but I have about 1000 examples to support them. Check our website for new science and applications
