QFF dries out when testing Assymetry with Acetone!!

Hi! I'm using an akta purifier which doesn't have Conductivity measurement, only absorvance. So, I wasn't able to test the efficiency of my packed column using NaCl. I found in the bibliography, including the QFF manual from Amersham, that Acetone is also used to measure efficiency. I followed the protocol exactly, but the two times I run the method with acetone my QFF dried out!

Any ideas? Someone have ever had the same problem?
