Just want to know what is the difference between the two? Which guideline should I follow particularly on my New Drug Product. Thanks :)
In recent years, many parts of the EP and USP have seemed to grow together. I'd use for whatever geographic locale you are in.

And yes - there are many parts to these publications that will just make you scratch your head and say "Really?"...
I fully agree with Consumer Products Guy. EP was copied 1:1 in Japan for the JP, and in China for the CP.
As I always say - it is challenging to use USP methods..............:)
