We recently noticed a leak coming from our Waters 2695 accumulator head. Specifically, we have mobile phase leaking out of the left side of the head, where the seal wash tube connects. (We know it is mobile phase as we are observing shifts in RTs, and the liquid leaks only when we have mobile phase flowing, not during a seal wash prime).
In an attempt to fix the issue, we replaced all the seals on the seal wash housing and plunger head, cut the seal wash tubes, and replaced the plunger. We also attempted to switch the entire the head/plunger assembly from the primary to the accumulator, but the issue persisted on the side of the accumulator.
I'm guessing this points to an issue with the plunger itself, but am unsure where to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
