Hi I have a method with a sample temperature 4 degrees +- 1 degree. I will be doing that method on waters alliance sistem and waters arc sistem. Can this alarm band +-1 degree be a problem.

Thank you
Yes.

4°C is as low as the sample compartments will go under good conditions and ±1°C is pretty tight.

Anticipate alarms. That said, I think you can tell the Alliance to ignore alarms via Empower...

If having sample temp. controlled that tightly is not really required, loosen it up a little and make your life easier.
Thanks,
DR

Yes I think that alliance sistem only shows warnings but doesn’t stop run sample but I don’t know about waters ARC sistem if it stops injecting sample when temperature is over alarm band
