I have a Tekmar 3000 system with the instrument connection cables for both a 5973/6890 GC-MS and a 5971/5890 GC-MS. I've been able to use the Tekmar 3000 and OI analytical Archon 4552 with either setup.

Recently I got hold of a Tekmar 3100. It does not seem to be talking to the 5971/5890 system using the same setup as I used with the Tekmar 3000.

These two P&T concentrators look nearly identical inside both as to gas lines, valves, and circuit boards. Any thoughts why the 3100 should not work?
