Shimadzu preparative HPLC - PDA Standby problem

Discussions about HPLC, CE, TLC, SFC, and other "liquid phase" separation techniques.

Hi all,

We have a HPLC preparative shimadzu. We have the LC connected to a PDA module. Everything looks fine, so LC is ready and PDA is also ready. Once we inject, we see that the PDA is changing to Standby modus and from there it does not change once the LC is running. So, that means that we can not get PDA information.

Does anyone knows this problem? I guess that is a communication problem...but is a bit bizard!

Any help would be appreciated!

Best,
Jordi
HI!, i know it is a long time ago since you posted this, but we are having exactly the same problem, did you solve it, if so, how did you solve it?
