I was putting together an order for some vac pump supplies today.

I've always been a big fan of Inland 45(vs. Inland 19), but when browsing today I noticed a new-to-me product, Inland 45Z.

The only thing I can really find is a vague reference to "higher viscosity than Inland 45."

This seems to me to be an overall good thing. For now I'm stuck with a little Edwards E2M1 pump, which I'm not a fan of but I can't replace it anytime soon(maybe next year). As those of you who have run these tiny pumps know, they run VERY hot. In my mind, higher viscosity should both keep these little pumps working well at the higher temperatures at which they run, and also hopefully reduce any residual background from pump vapor.

Has anyone used this, and if so do you have any thoughts?
