Hi ,

I can sign off in Empower 3 but cant seem to figure out how you unsign
Thanks
Do you need to unsign? Why not just lock the channels associated with that run and forget about it or write a note about it. I don't actually think its possible, due to data integrity issues, to unsign in Empower.
Right - no such thing as unsigning.

If there was a standard amount mistake or something, fix that, reprocess, re-sign. SOPs should indicate to reviewers that only the highest numbered signature(s) for a given run count for anything.
Thanks,
DR

Hi ,

Thanks for information

So in practice you can have multiple results sets ids which have been reprocessed with signed off reports for each injection (?!).
Unsure why not an option analysts cannot unsign own reports (Other CDS can with audit trail and no duplication of data and to crf part11)

ie .. peak named incorrectly in which a result set has been signed by analyst
Process :
You have to rename peak, save method , reprocess , new result set Id created then sign this ?

Thanks

Andy
Yep. That way, nothing is hidden.

No matter what you do, every injection will have a sign off assigned to it, but what we tended to do was report the max signoff ID on the first page of the "grand" or "all in one" report and use it as signoff for the entire result set. Looking up that number, then using report viewer with it enables a reviewer to see everything associated with it. We did not include sign off ids on the chromatogram pages of the report.
Thanks,
DR

In my company, if you discover a mistake eg wrong label, dilution etc then you Alter Sample, write a note in your chromatography front cover form and reprocess after getting signed permission from your boss, and only report the highest number result set id. That way an auditor can trace everything that went wrong in the original run then see the note and the correct run. Nothing hidden and no problem.
