Dear Community,

this is my first post here, so, please bear with me :D

Our laboratory is using Empower 2.

I am from the IT and I'm currently solely working through the program.

What I need to know is, can u set an "Edit View" Filter globally?
Because, currently we are setting up this "Filter By: ***" for each project.

I hope I explained that somehow understandable?

When you think you know what I need to do, please let me know.

Kind regards

Baloox
Hi

not sure if it can be done globally. Each project stands more or less for its own. No inheritance throughout the project-hierarchy.

But you can copy the filter to other projects ("view-filters"-tab, right click, copy to projects...)
(Remark: not possible from a project w/o audit trail to one with audit trail. The other way round should work)

If you're setting up new projects, then maybe best strategy is to create a "default" project with all the filters, methods and custom field etc. in it, and then select this project to copy the methods from (2nd.last step in the creation dialog).
If for existing projects, use the copy to project function (multiple projects can be selected)
Thank you Hollow!

That, at least, made it easier for them :)
