Metrohm IC reporting of results

Hello,
I have been in contact with multiple people from Metrohm who can't, or will not respond back to me. I have a brand new IC system from Metrohm (Metrohm Prof 850 with cation and anion capabilities). I was hoping someone can tell me how to get a result. I made 3 different concentration standards for each ion and have made a calibration curve. So I have a result for my samples because they fall in the calibration line. I prep samples that are usually solid, and dilute them with water. So I hope everyone is understanding me that I have to take into account the sample prep (mg of sample and diluted to x mL) when determining my result and cannot use just the result I get from the calibration line. Has someone run into this issue before? Is there a way I can fix the software (MagIC Net) in order to get an accurate result?
Thank you!
Katie
Dear Katie

I am very sorry, that you did not get immediate rspone to your request.
If I understand correct, you disolve e.g. X mg in Y L of diluent.
Assuming your calibration in done in mg/L, you enter "X" as 'Sample amount' and "Y" as 'Dilution' in the 'Sample data'.

Make sure that you enter the values in the same dimensions as the calibration is done.

Please do not hesitate to contact me (lae@metrohm.com) in case of any further question.
