Hi all,

SIM mode can be done by group. Lesser compounds in a group higher the sensitivity of the analytes. Normally set the cycle per scan 4-6. My question now is if inside the group. One of the analyzes sensitivity is low. Dwell time should I set higher or lower(although after adjust the cycle time will affect), but just wan to increase the ion sensitivity that I want. :?

Thanks
Seet
Dwell and cycle time adjusting will only affect the amount of peak points, not the sensitivity.

To increase the sensitivity, you can try to increase the EM gain. This increases the noise as well, but should increase the S/N.
