Hi,

I am having issues getting peaks . I am injecting an 8 ppm O2 in He. My set up is:
Pre-Column : Hayesep Q , Analysis Column : MS 13X, detector DID

I’ve heard in the past that if the column temperature is over 70 degrees , O2 is absorbed into the Hayesep Q . Is that right?

Thanks!
If your sample is only the 8ppm of oxygen in helium, then why not only use the mol sieve column. This will at least tell you if the HayeSep Q column is the problem. At 8 ppm it could also be the Mol Sieve column.
