I have ordered the RESTEK Cat#24799 50uL gastight large volume syringe for my 6890-FID / Agilent 7673 autosampler. I see it also has a replaceable needle according to SGE's website; thus the "R" (SGE cat #004665 model 50R-HP-0.63).
I went with the 5m x 0.53 mm RXI Guard Column RESTEK Cat#10054 for my CSR-LVSI (Concurrent Solvent Recondensation Large Volume Splitless Injection) setup. The syringe is out of stock until mid-Feburary. When it comes in I will try this new larger volume injection in comjunction with the Method 3511 sample prepartion.
I've tried going from a 1uL to a 5uL injection with my current set up and got 5 times the surrogate and DRO concentrations against my current 1uL calibration curve. THe solvent peak went from 0.5 min wide to 2.0 min wide. This is going to be fun.
