I am performing ethanol testing in whole blood by HS GC-FID testing. One of the columns I use is a Restek BAC2 but I am having issues with separation of peaks. Has anyone else had this issue? How did you solve it? Thanks in advance for any input.
It would be very helpful if you could provide as much information about your method as possible AND some images of what you're seeing as far as your chromatograms go. To get the best feedback from the group, you really need to tell us as much as you can about your system/conditions.
Oven temp: 40 C, isothermal
Injector Temp: 200 C
Detector temp: 250 C
Carrier Gas: Helium
Constant pressure at 10 psi

I will add more info soon.
