Anyone know what this option means?

I'm running samples on Waters UPLC using Empower 3 and I notice in the "Customize" heading of Run Samples there is an option called "Force Sequential Vials". I don't get what this means and the help option didn't explain it.

Does this mean that if you have a sample set from vials 1-10 but you put in 70 instead of 10, that it would treat the 10th vial in sequence and not as the input 70?

Any ideas?
Good question, EmpowersBane,

I thought it might be similar to "Autofill," where you can set ranges of vials in sequential order for injection, but I guess not, now.

Maybe I'll give Waters a call for this one.

Hi Matt, I'm not sure what it means to be honest. Its odd that I couldn't get any help but then again the Empower Help files can be a mixed bag- lots of details for some topics and very little for others.

If I find out ill post it here too!
EmpowrsBane, I'll do the same. Even while I'm behind the curve on the Custom Fields, I thought I had a good grasp on most other things Empower 3-related.
