I have heard about some home-made heavy duty slurry packers with an operation pressure limit over 20,000 psi. However, I have been unable to find any commercial column packer of such specification. Some information on such slurry packer will be appreciated if posted.
Please look for a Knauer pneumatic pump, that is used for slurry column packing. Can operate at 1000bar. The adapters to pack mostly are "home made".

Thank you for your information. The Knauer pneumatic pump 1950 seems to be the commercially available compressed air-actuated slurry packer of the highest pressure limit of 15,000 psi at present. This packer may be successfully used for packing of conventional analytical columns or preparative columns for the column length of 30 cm or less with stationary particles of 3 um or more. For the packing of narrow bore analytical columns, the Restek Pack In A Box dual piston pump (electrically driven) with a pressure limit of 10,000 psi is recommended. For the packing of uLC or nano-LC columns, the Teledyne-Isco 65D syringe pump with a pressure limit of 20,000 psi may be successfully used.
However, when one tries to pack sub-2 um stationary particles in a column of 30 cm length, there may be serious difficulties to achieve satisfactory separation efficiency of the resultant packed column. In such situations, a pneumatic pump of a pressure limit over 20,000 psi will be required for packing of conventional analytical columns, and an electrically driven pump with a pressure limit over 20,000 psi will be required for packing of uLC or nano-LC columns. Such packers will also be very useful to further improve the packing quality when stationary particles of 3 um or bigger are used especially in longer columns.
I think that the demand for such heavy duty slurry packers is large enough, thus some commercial slurry packers or pumps of such specification will be realized in the near future.
